Significant experience in litigating, mediating and arbitration of construction defect disputes including the representation of design professionals, general and sub-contractors and owners of projects ranging from single family dwellings to high rise office buildings.
- Design Professional Malpractice Defense:
Extensive experience in defending architects, land surveyors and engineers of every discipline against claims of errors, omissions and breach of contract.
- Public Entity Law:
Experience in the representation of the State of California and of local public entities in litigation seeking recovery of damages sustained in connection with the use of public property and facilities.
- Advising And Counseling Design Professionals And Contractors:
Extensive experience in drafting and preparation of contracts under which architects and engineers provide design and contract administration services. This includes, but is not limited to, contracts, amendments, change orders, releases, etc. Regularly advise and counsel about contract rights and liabilities when disputes arise during construction.
- Alternative Dispute Resolution:
Experience in the mediation and resolution of complex disputes between litigants. Also accept assignments as an arbitrator and as a Special Master.
